Dr. Roller-Wirnsberger is a Professor of Geriatrics and Competency Based Curriculum Development at the Medical University of Graz in the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Roller-Wirnsberger is a leading member of the Austrian platform for interdisciplinary research on ageing and is the Secretary General of the Austrian Society for Geriatrics and Gerontology which is a member of the European Union Geriatric Medicine Society (EUGMS).
