BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Jose F. Parodi is Geriatrician and Professor of Geriatrics and Public Health in undergraduate and graduate, in the Faculty of Human Medicine at the Universidad de San Martin de Porres of Peru (FMH-USMP). He is also Director of Center for Ageing Research – CIEN of the FMH-USMP. Through CIEN, he collaborates as external advisor, with the Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization (PAHO / WHO). He has advised on issues of public health and aging to health and social ministries in Latin America. He has served in various national and global committees for Health and Ageing and also has participated as expert and advisor for international institutions on the issue of aging and health. He is author or coauthor of numerous articles in clinical journals and books.
